Lipsher: Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue appreciates your support

Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue would like to thank everyone who helped make our annual open house on Wednesday such a great success! In addition to so many Summit County families who attended the event at our fire station in Keystone, we couldn’t have pulled it off without the enthusiastic contributions of our partner public-safety organizations, local businesses and wonderful volunteers. We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Scott Wilson; Jon Bader, Kathleen Martynowicz and Pete and Susana Novembre of the American Red Cross; Claudia Owen of the Colorado State Patrol; Battalion Chief Ryan Roberts of Red, White & Blue Fire; Marc Burdick, Wendy Miller and Chris Myers of the Summit County Ambulance Service; Rebecca McDonald and Tatiana Staley of the Summit County 9-1-1 Communications Center; Preston Burns, Denis Fair, Rich Miller, Aaron Parmet, Lynn and Tim Schlough, Rob Sollenberger and Shari Topping of Summit County Search and Rescue; Deputy Nathan Opsahl of the Summit County Sheriff’s Office; and the volunteers with the Lake Dillon Fire Corps. And last but certainly not least, we’d like to thank Vail Resorts for donating a child’s Epic Pass, as well as Arapahoe Basin ski area for donating two children’s season passes that were given away in our prize drawings. Additionally, thanks to KYSL radio and the Summit Daily News for helping to get out the word of our event. Omission of many others who contributed in ways big and small is unintended, but their efforts are greatly appreciated.
