Longboarding not fit for public pathways (letter)

I am not against longboarding. For that matter I’m not against shooting sports. But not even the NRA would suggest open shooting ranges in shopping center parking lots. And if the participants felt the need for body armor? Well… would you take your kids shopping?

No one is trying to restrict your efforts to hasten your own demise. In fact, film it with your GoPro. It could be that will be the high point of your memorial. We just don’t want to be part of the movie at a public facility. This is about public safety on already over burdened pathways.

And waving the flag of personal liberty. Are you kidding? Or is that a new part of being a certified snow sports instructor?

Perhaps next time you could a bit more effort to understand the comments you are responding to.
