Moberly: ‘Nipping at her privates like a school of piranha’ (letter)
Thanks to Phil Lindeman for the interesting series “Retrofitted.”
This past article on Linda and Joel Godfrey reminded me of another outfit Linda wore at Copper’s bikini contest in the ‘90s. She had sewn a few dozen small cocktail hot dogs to her outfit, creating a true Eenie Weenie Bikini. She skied down to the roars of the admiring crowd, ending at the bottom among a plethora of well-wishers and gawkers.
Unfortunately, the aroma of her outfit also attracted all the dogs who had been milling around with the spectators. Linda wasn’t too happy about the bevy of canines nipping at her privates like a school of piranha, but that vision still brings a smile to those of us who remember that page in the book of memories.
