Summit County Rescue Group lives up to its name (letter)

Very recently, I needed help getting down the last 2 miles of the Meadow Creek Trail. The response from the Summit County Rescue Group deserves public recognition -—their speed to the scene, ability to quickly assess my situation and skill in getting me down some challenging terrain was beyond impressive. The performance of this team of volunteers reflects an extraordinary level of personal time, training and commitment to public safety. For all of us who enjoy hiking, biking and boating in Summit County, it is great to know that this first-rate team is there to help if needed. Thanks to those that helped me and to all of the some 60 volunteers that comprise the rescue group.
