Vatcher: Let’s all get out and vote on Breckenridge 2A (letter)

We are closing in on election day. There is still lots of “lobbying” for the parking and transportation ballot question (2A). I’m not sure why. Do voters still not understand?

When the town and Vail mutually agreed to a financial support agreement, one that guarantees the town a minimum of $3.5 million each year with virtually no impact to locals, Breckenridge voters, and residents, I would think this is a “no brainer”! Would we really leave all that money on the table with a “no” vote? That would make no sense. So, let’s get on with it. All you Breckenridge voters: get your ballot in. Send a strong message of support to our town council. Vote Yes on Ballot Question 2A so the town can move forward with solutions! Thanks for listening.
