Your mom doesn’t work at the post office (letter)

If the recycle bins supplied by the post office are full, then you have to take your un-wanted mail home or to the recycling center yourself! It’s a far too often occurrence to walk into the Dillon Post Office and see the place littered with left over garbage and mail. The bins are quite frequently over flowing and people continue to add to the pile that ends up all over the floors and counters.

Thanks to the post office for providing these recycling bins.

Please remember that your mom isn’t coming by to pick up after you and you have to take care of your own responsibilities, which means sometimes having to take care of your own trash.

Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
