A tip of the hat for everday generosity (letter)

My dad and I were having breakfast at Sunshine Cafe last Saturday morning. He is a World War II veteran and had placed his cap on the table. Our waiter brought our food and told us that the people at the table behind us had bought our breakfast. We turned around to thank them but they had already left.

Thank you for your generosity and recognition of my dad.
