There’s mountain gold in those slow drivers

Robert Craig

You’ve got to be kidding me – “public enemy No 1.” That’s what the headline July 18 called slow drivers.

Really, slow drivers can be a little bothersome, but come on. Maybe all of the fast drivers in Summit County should slow down and remember that tourists and visitors are a (if not the) major source of revenue in the mountains.

If it weren’t for those stupid visitors – winter and summer – there wouldn’t be a job to rush to each morning.

With that kind of attitude, I now know why driving from the Front Range to the ski areas every weekend is such a terrible experience.

Guess it was a slow news day, huh?
