FARMER’S KORNER – Summit High School junior Kylor Dossett was named to the Class 4A All-Jeffco second team, while teammates Danny Soller and Mike Holloway were named to the honorable mention squad Wednesday.

“I think the coaches voted for Kylor because they recognized he’s a player that can produce at every position,” said head coach Mike Rathgeber.

Soller, a senior, was sixth in the league in steals and near the top in scoring and rebounding.

“He’s a basketball junkie,” Rathgeber said. Holloway, a junior, was a force on the inside for Summit, which improved from 3-17 last season to 11-11 this year.

“Mike is the kind of kid that every coach wants on his team,” Rathgeber added. “He works hard and does what he needs to do to help the team.”

On the team level, Holloway and Soller were named MVPs on Wednesday, while Garrison Green was named most improved.

Aaron George received the coaches award, which recognizes selflessness, work ethic and academics, Rathgeber said.
