Boys’ lacrosse team loses to Steamboat Springs

Despite a strong showing by the Tiger defense, the Summit High boys’ lacrosse team lost 6-3 at Steamboat Springs on Saturday.

“Our defense played really well to limit them to six goals,” SHS head coach Michael O’Neill said. “You’d think holding a team to six goals we’d be looking pretty good. But bottom line, you score three goals in a lacrosse game and your chances aren’t very good.”

The Tigers (6-2) had a game on Tuesday that was canceled due to the weather. Their next game will be at home Thursday against Eagle Valley at 4 p.m.
