Dew Tour: Final prelims of week wrap up

BRECKENRIDGE – Breckenridge’s Keri Herman was the top qualifier during a windy and snowy women’s freeski slopestyle preliminary round at Breckenridge on Saturday.

Herman put together a strong run in the adverse conditions to score a 96.67, edging out Jessica Warll’s 95.0.

Herman will now be the final skier to drop in today’s final.

Also moving on was Devin Logan, who also competed in Saturday’s pipe final, coming in fifth. The 17-year-old scored a 93.0.

The final three qualifiers were Emma Dahlstrom, Ashley Battersby and Eveline Bhend.

Today’s finals are slated for 1:30 p.m.

Enni Rukajarvi put down the best run of a snowy and windy women’s snowboard slopestyle competition. Klaudia Medlova was second, and Rebeca Torr was third.

The final two qualifiers were Charlotte Van Gils and Cheryl Mass.

The five women will join Jamie Anderson, who was exempt from qualifying as the defending Dew Cup champion, in today’s final.

The finals start at 10 a.m.
