In a star-studded field with the sports biggest hitters, Summit High grad Duncan Adams continued to show why many in freeskiing consider him to be a big part of ski pipe’s bright future.

Adams scored an 84.0 on the second run of the elimination round at Winter X Games Europe in Tignes, France, on Tuesday.

Frenchman Kevin Rolland qualified in first place after scoring a 91.66 on the first of his two runs.

American freeskiing superstar Simon Dumont was behind him in second and Canadian Justin Dorey was third, just two points ahead of Adams

The finals will air on ESPN2 today at 11 a.m. Men’s ski slopestyle and women’s ski slope finals are also today.
