Fifth SMC race rallies at River Run’

KEYSTONE – The fifth race of the Summit Mountain Challenge (SMC) mountain bike series kicks off at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday with the River Run Rally at Keystone.

The race loops up Jackstraw Road and green single-track trails, then descends on blue and green single-track. Racers do different numbers of loops depending on their category.

Riders can pre-register for the race all day today at A Racer’s Edge in Breckenridge, or at for $15, or at the start line at Keystone before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday for $18. Parking is at the Mountain House or River Run base areas and the post-race awards party is at the Backcountry Brewery in Frisco.
