Fundraising still open for Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer

While registration is officially closed for the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer Snowshoe event in Frisco on March 5, donations are still being accepting and fundraising is on-going.

The event helps to raise awareness for breast cancer and money for the Denver affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

It’s the ninth year the event is in Frisco.

There’s a 3k snowshoe race at 9 a.m. and a 3/5k walk at 9:30.

The event has already hit its maximum of just over 2,200 entries, but there are still opportunities to help the cause.

Fundraising information is available online, and those not competing next weekend can sign up for the Snowed in for the Cause.

Also, people can still come to the Pink Party on Friday at the Best Western in Frisco and participate in Saturday’s Save the Ta-Tas Treasure Hunt.
