Morgan wins Ladies Club Player of the Year at BGC

Thanks to another season of solid golf, Krista Morgan has won the Breckenridge Golf Club’s Ladies Club Player of the Year award.Morgan added to her honors in part because of her play this week.The weekly competition of the Ladies Club at the Breckenridge Golf Club featured a triple play event. The team of Jari Bell and Morgan won the event with a net 72. Finishing in second was the pairing of Deborah Bangham and Lori Lindsey (73). The team of Kathy Warner and Sophie Willemsen took third by shooting a 75.The BGC’s Men’s Club conducted its annual Tournament of Champions this week, in which all event winners of the season were invited to compete in a low gross/low net tournament held at the Keystone River Course. Taking first place in gross division was Allan Johnson. He shot a 76. Kirk Dice finished second with a 78. In the net division, the winner was Greg Nienhouse (68). He was followed by Dave Tyler and Jim Byers, who tied for second.
