On The Hill: Bottomless champagne powder on a road trip to Steamboat (video)

On The Hill is brought to you by The Steadman Clinic and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute.

VIDEO: On The Hill correspondent Z Griff takes things On The Road for turns at Steamboat Springs, home to world-famous champagne pow. Like a Vegas buffet, the champagne is bottomless and it always leads to one hell of a wild ride.

Breckenridge official report: 5″, 5″, 8″

Summit Daily field report: I swept a good 2-3 inches off the car this morning.

Weather: High 29°, low 11°. Snow likely until around 11 a.m. then partly sunny. Snow picking back up tonight but no big totals expected.

Lift lines: Not horrible yesterday but in some spots like Independence, T-Bar and Falcon the lines got busy at times.

Breakdown: The cleanup crews are hard at work taking care of that snow before the next round of storms (we hope). Three-plus inches in most places and excellent temps means today will be great! Watch footage of Z Griff and pals on their trip to Steamboat, where they rode knee-deep champagne pow all day.
