Keystone official report: 0″ of new snow overnight, 0” in the last 48 hours

Explore Summit field report: No new overnight snow, but the groomers are hitting fresh, a little firm early but should soften out as the day goes on. Take the Outpost gondola out to North Peak or Outback (Mozart is not open yet). Bluebird skies.

Weather: Negative 2 degrees at 8:30 a.m. (Feels a lot warmer with the sun)

Liftline status: No line at 8:30 a.m.

Run of the day: Flying Dutchman (Dercum Mtn)

Breakdown: Keystone is running 14 of 20 lifts, with 64 of 135 trails open at 1,263 acres. Providing access to 83 percent of its green terrain, 39 percent of its blue terrain and 1 percent of its expert terrain. Several runs on North Peak/Outback opened last Friday. Night skiing will be open this Friday/Saturday until 8 p.m.

Snowcast: The NOAA is calling for a high of 26 degrees today, finally beginning to warm up after a long cold spell. The day should be mostly sunny. Wind chill values as low as zero. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Lows around 9.
