On The Hill: Cloudless Sunburner cruise in tribute of the Eddie Aikau surf comp (snow video)
On The Hill is brought to you by The Steadman Clinic and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute.
VIDEO: It’s been more than a decade since Z Griff was beachside in Oahu, but he’ll still take time to pay tribute to the biggest, baddest, burliest wave riders at this past week’s Eddie Aikau Invitational on the North Shore. How? The only way he knows: a run through the snow barrel on Sundowner.

Breckenridge official report: 0″, 0″, 0″
Summit Daily field report: The warm spell continues but temperatures are set to drop tonight. We have a chance of snow on Monday and our fingers are crossed for a big March.
Weather: High 41 F, low of 20 F. Sunny.
Lift lines: Saturday means that some crowds will be here. I saw a number of tour busses and coach lines pulling into town this morning.
Breakdown: The warm temps have made for spring like conditions this February. We are in an El Nino year and things can get crazy…including the swell in Hawaii. The Eddie Aikau Invitational went off this past Thursday on the North Shore of Oahu and since ZGriff remembers fondly his summer spent on Oahu (when he was 21) he blasts down Sundowner at Breck in tribute to Eddie.
