Summit Daily field report: The storm has rolled in a day early and the winds are whipping. Snow began falling around 5 a.m. this morning and is supposed to continue until next Tuesday.

Weather: High 33F, low of 20F. Snow showers expected.

Lift lines: It is a blustery one out there and it may keep some at bay.

Breakdown: We sit in anticipation as a giant storm looms. The condition of the mountain is excellent and we welcome a big storm.
