On The Hill: Powder laps on Loveland Pass after the storm (video)

On The Hill is brought to you by The Steadman Clinic and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute.

VIDEO: Z Griff ditches the lift lines for a day and heads out to Loveland Pass for untouched powder turns and hitchiker laps. The snow is just as good as you would imagine after a week of at least 1-2 inches per day.

Breckenridge official report: 1″, 2″, 3″

Summit Daily field report: High 10, low -3. Chilly but sunny.

Weather: It is a cold, crispy day after Christmas. Temps will hover in the single digits and be cold with windchill.

Lift lines: There could be some crowds throughout the day because town is pretty full. Cold could keep some at bay.

Breakdown: Going to be a beautiful (if not very cold) day out there today. A trace of snow on the ground and goodies still to be had. Peak 10 southside opened yesterday, so Breck is now open rope to rope, Peak 6 to Peak 10.
