VIDEO: It’s the calm before the storm that is Ullr Fest in Breckenridge and Z Griff is helping build the course for two events coming to town in early February: Bull of the Woods and Running of the Bulls Banked Slalom. Sure, the parade and shotski and fat-bike races get all the attention, but you just can’t miss this one-of-a-kind snowboard party.

Summit Daily field report: It was a calm morning before a storm we hope. It is starting to spitter snow and gust wind. Colder temps coming in and cloud cover.

Lift lines: Not going to be bad today.

Breakdown: We are staring down a storm system with our fingers crossed as we could use a reset. Watch this footage as Z Griff brings us on a course preview of the third annual Bull of the Woods and inaugural Running of the Bulls Banked Slalom. This event is being built and thrown by the local shred community, Trilogy Events and the Town of Breckenridge, as well as a long list of incredible supporters. The two-day event will take place on Feb. 4 and 5 above Carter Park and is sure to be an event like town has never seen!
