On The Hill: Session at Keystone’s early-season terrain park (video)

On The Hill is brought to you by The Steadman Clinic and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute.

VIDEO: Keystone opened the A51 early-season park on Nov. 10, just a day before a fast snowstorm brought 8-plus inches to resorts across Summit. Z Griff was there to catch the park action on a sparkling bluebird day. Just watch out for the backflips.

Snow report: Keystone reported 2 inches overnight, plus another 8 from the night before.

Summit Daily field report: The Wednesday snowstorm was a blessing. It softened up the ramps and gave the A-51 crew something to work with.

Weather: High of 25 degrees and plenty of sunshine.

Lift lines: Pretty short on a bluebird Thursday, but expect the three-person Ranger lift to be slammed over the weekend.

Breakdown: Glad to see that Keystone waited to build a legitimate park, with good flow and plenty of features.
