Breckenridge official report: No new snow

Summit Daily field report: No new snow. Peak 10 opened for the season today.

Weather: 18 degrees this morning with a high of 27 in the forecast. Clouds and storm expected to roll in. No morning wind.

Lift lines: Lines were okay but the wait for Peak 10’s season opening caused a bit of a mob scene. Half the corral filled at Beaver at 10:30 a.m. and the Falcon back to normal after first run.

Breakdown: The wait is over and peak 10 is open! Falcon chair had us all chomping at the bit until just after 10 a.m. but it was worth it. The goings were very good. Southside, the Burn, Ballroom hike are awesome and the snow stayed light and cold with good coverage. Big storm rolling our way. Forecasters are calling for Sunday through Monday to see the heaviest snowfall.
