Perry Jr. wins Mogul Champ

Team Summit mogul specialist Bruce Perry Jr., 13, won the Central Division Mogul Championships for the second straight year last weekend at Spirit Mt. Ski area in Duluth, Minn.

There were competitors from five different states and two countries battling it out on the icy firm mogul course.

Out of a field of 33 competitors, Perry won the event with a score of 24.16, ahead of the 17-year-old silver medalist from Canada Dillon Montenarh with a 24.00.



Wisconsin’s Rob Staudenmayer won the bronze medal with a score of a 21.84.

It marked Perry’s third win of the season. His other two victories were at Durango Mt. Resort and in Aspen.
