The Breckenridge Professional Baseball Camp is coming to Kingdom Park once again this summer. The 23rd annual camp will be held June 21-25.

The camp is run by former all-American college player and MLB scout Mark Drury, as well as Colorado Christian University head coach Rob Pegg.

The week-long instructional camp is for boys and girls ages 8-16. Players will receive instruction in hitting techniques, position fielding, base running, sliding, pitching, throwing, proper warmups, rules of the game and will run kids through a true professional tryout session.

The cost of the camp is $195 per player, including daily lunch.

The Breckenridge Professional Baseball Camp is the longest-running baseball camp in the Rockies, and Drury has been a part of every one.

After earning All-America honors at Southeast Missouri State University, Drury was a scout for seven years with the Detroit Tigers and two years with the New York Yankees.

To register or for more information, contact Drury at (303) 902-8572 or pick up brochures at the Breckenridge or Silverthorne recreation centers.
