EAGLE VALLEY INVITATIONAL — TIGERS TRACK AND FIELD, April 9

A conference track and field meet hosted by Eagle Valley High School in Gypsum on April 9. The event drew 18 teams and more than 250 athletes from across the state, including 4A Western Slope rivals Eagle Valley, Battle Mountain, Aspen and Steamboat Springs.

SUMMIT VS. COAL RIDGE — TIGERS BASEBALL, APRIL 7

A non-conference varsity game played at Coal Ridge High School in Castle Rock on April 7. The Tigers lost, 4-8, with 10 hits and 5 errors. The loss gives the Tigers a record of 0-7 overall and 0-5 in the 4A Western Slope conference.

Summit is off this week for spring break and returns to action on April 20 with a double-header against Delta High School in Delta, beginning at 1 p.m.

SUMMIT VS. VALOR CHRISTIAN — TIGERS BOY’S LACROSSE, APRIL 13

A non-conference varsity game held at Valor Christian Stadium in Highlands Ranch on April 13. The Tigers lost, 0-17, to post a 1-7 record overall and 1-3 record in the 4A Western Slope.

The boy’s lacrosse team doesn’t get much of a spring break this season due to delays and cancellations early in the season. The Tigers next play Grand Junction High School in Grand Junction on April 13 (as in today), followed by Battle Mountain in Edwards on April 19.
