You can’t keep a kid out of the mud.

On July 2, Copper Mountain hosted more than 80 parent-child teams for the first-annual Copper Family Adventure Quest. Teams weathered rain, mud, snow and more to complete the pint-sized adventure course, filled with obstacles like a pond crossing, river crossing, mud pit and suspended net bridge.

When all was said and done, wagers were won — think family bets like taking out the trash and doing the laundry — and no one left without a smile. The Summit Daily was there to capture sights from the course. Enjoy.
