Silverthorne adding 3 parking spaces at Willowbrook Trailhead
The town of Silverthorne is working to add an additional three parking spaces to its Willowbrook Trailhead.
Town spokesperson Kim Jardim said parking has been an issue at this popular trailhead in the summers, leading the town to start the project this summer.
Jardim said she expects the additional spaces to be complete by the end of next week.
When the parking lot fills up, Jardim said trail users should park in the lower lot adjacent to Trent Park at the base of the neighborhood, though this adds an additional 1.1 miles of walking to the trip.
