Summit alpine teams dominate – again

Well, make it three for three. The Summit High alpine teams have now won every single team race this season – boys or girls.

Friday, the Tigers swept both team and individual titles in a giant slalom competition at Eldora Mountain Resort.

Dael Mouton won the boys’ competition, and Anne Parker led a trio of Tigers in the top-four with a decisive 4-second win.

After Parker in the girls’ race were Haley Gage and Hannah Price in third and fourth, respectively. The girls’ team wound up winning by 13 points over Evergreen High School and had 10 of the top-25 skiers in the race.

The boys’ team, which had nine of the top-25 overall, topped Evergreen by five points.

Ridge Strickler was fourth in the race, and Matty Baldwin finished in eighth.
