Tigers athletics look to busy week ahead

FARMER’S KORNER – It’s going to be a busy week for Summit High School athletic director Gretchen Knies.

But then, when isn’t she busy?

It started Tuesday with volleyball, the first of seven events to be played on Tigers’ turf before Sunday. Today, the boys soccer team plays host to Ralston Valley at 6 p.m., while the gymnastics team enjoys its first home meet at 5 p.m.



Thursday, the softball team will shoot for its ninth-straight win against Englewood at 4:30 p.m. at the Blue River Softball Fields, while the boys golf team is away at regionals.

Friday, Summit volleyball takes on D’Evelyn at home, while the football team takes on Englewood at 7 p.m on Tiger Field.



It doesn’t stop on the weekend. The softball team whosts Alameda at 11 a.m., while gymnastics and cross country are on the road.
