Tigers fall to Rifle 40-7 to close season

The Tiger boys football team closed a trying season with another tough loss, falling on the road to Rifle 40-7 Friday night. The Western Slope champion Bears came out firing early and often jumping to a 26-0 lead in the first quarter and adding another 14 before halftime. The Bears Brock Clark accounted for four of the teams six scores including two interceptions for touchdowns. With the loss Summit ended the season 1-9 overall.
