US Snowboarding Team signing at Copper Mountain Saturday

The U.S. Snowboarding Team will take a break from its training at Copper Mountain Ski Resort to sign autographs for fans on Saturday at the Woodward at Copper Cage from noon to 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Of those expected to attend are Steve Fisher, Louie Vito, Gretchen Bleiler, Kelly Clark, Hannah Teter, Mason Aguirre, Scotty Lago, Danny Davis, Greg Bretz and more. Although, Copper spokesperson Lauren Pelletreau said the list of attending athletes is subject to change.

The U.S. riders have been at Copper training in its superpipe for the past week, gearing up for the U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix, which will be at Copper next week from Dec. 10-12.



Copper’s Grand Prix marks the first official U.S. Olympic Team qualifying event for the boarders.

The Woodward at Copper Cage is located in The Village at Copper, next to West Lake and Imperial Palace, across from Chubs.
