Julie Danielsen, A Life of Adventure and Purpose

Julie, a lifelong traveler, artist, and passionate environmentalist, tragically passed away February 14th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to making the world a better place. Born in Edgware, UK, Julie’s adventurous spirit led her across the globe.

She spent most of her life in Park County, where she became a beloved member of the community. Her passion for environmentalism was at the heart of everything she did—she championed recycling, worked tirelessly to limit her own carbon footprint, and dedicated herself to various volunteer organizations, always striving to leave the world better than she found it.

Julie’s artistic soul shone through in her love for painting, creating beauty both on canvas and in the lives of those she touched. She cherished her time with her grandson, Grey, who brought her endless joy.

Julie’s life was one of adventure, purpose, and deep love for those around her. Though her passing was sudden and heartbreaking, the impact she made will never fade.

Julie is survived by Ron Danielsen, her loving daughter Lauren, son-in-law Mat, and cherished grandson Grey, as well as her dear sister Glenda and family. She also leaves behind an extraordinary worldwide network of friends who were, in many ways, her extended family. They will all miss her adventurous spirit, her passionate commitment to environmental causes, and most of all, her gift for making each person in her life feel special and deeply valued.

A celebration of her life will be held at Alma Town Hall on the 26th of July, where friends and family can gather to honor her memory. In the spirit of Julie’s love for hosting dinner parties, guests are encouraged to bring a dish to share as we come together to celebrate her life, just as she would have wanted.

Julie’s spirit will live on through the stories we tell, the footprints she left across the world, and the hearts of those who loved her.
