Richard was born and raised in Enid, OK. He married Gloria J. Blick in 1965. Richard served in Vietnam in 1969-70 where he earned multiple commendations. Richard and Gloria had two children, Randall and Michael. In 1980, they moved to Summit County where they raised the family. In 2014, they relocated to Fresno, CA to be near their grandchildren. Richard is survived by his wife, Gloria; his children, Randall and Michael; and his grandchildren, Samuel and Henry.
