Antonio Olivero

Antonio Olivero is sports editor for the Summit Daily News. Antonio has settled into the High Country life after driving cross-country from another region known for its wilderness, skiing and iconic mountains: the Adirondacks and Lake Placid, New York in the state’s North Country.  A graduate of Syracuse University and a proud alum of The Daily Orange student newspaper, Antonio grew up playing basketball in and around New York City and worked as a journalist for several publications in the Tri-State area before relocating to Lake Placid in 2015. There he fell in love with hiking the Adirondack 46 High Peaks and all the mountain lifestyle had to offer, which has led him to pursue even bigger thrills and stories here in Summit County.
