Bizline: Ski Country Antiques

ALL |
Q. What type of business do you operate – what do you sell, or what service do you provide?A. We import fine old-world treasures from 15 countries around the world. We are a wholesale and retail operation selling antiques that have a unique mountain style. Q. Where are you from and why did you decide to open your business in Summit county?A. Brian Kleinwachter started the business in this very building back in 1995. He then expanded to a much larger facility at Floyd Hill in Evergreen. Now we’ve grown to the point where we have two satellite stores – Breckenridge and Steamboat Springs.
Q. What experience do you have in this field?A. Collectively, the family business and its employees have more than 100 years of experience in the antique business. Q. What sets your business apart from other similar businesses?
A. We have great connections abroad with a stream-lined operation; therefore, our prices are very competitive. Q. What types of customers do you hope to reach in Summit County?A. We would like to expand on our already strong Summit County customer base.
Q. Why did you choose to open where you did?A. We reopened the Breckenridge store to bring us closer to our customers. Q. What are your plans for your company’s future?A. To open more satellite stores; the sky’s the limit.
