Breckenridge Grand Vacations gave over $750,000 to nonprofits in December

The philanthropic arm of Breckenridge Grand Vacations, BGV Gives, doled out $752,991 in grants to nonprofits serving Summit and Park counties in December 2024.
The funding supported an array of initiatives including health and human services, education, arts and culture, environmental stewardship, and sports, according to a news release.
“We aim to create lasting, transformational change by fostering meaningful community partnerships,” said Tara Dew, BGV Gives Program Manager, in the news release. “BGV’s goal extends beyond providing financial support — it’s about building connections and empowering organizations to make a sustained difference in the lives of those they serve.”
The 2024 grants will help programs such as Celebrate the Beat, which uses dance to improve children’s physical health and teach them about the arts through in-school and after-school programs and Colorado Mountain College’s Mountain Scholars program, supporting first-generation college students with scholarships and mentoring, according to the news release.

The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
