Colorado Highway 9 north of Silverthorne reopens after crash causes delays

Colorado Highway 9 reopened around 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, following a crash. The crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. on Highway 9 between Silverthorne and Heeney near mile point 106, according to Summit County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Mike Schilling. The crash involved a dump truck and a second vehicle, a pickup truck, Schilling said, and resulted in minor injuries. The crash was cleared and the northbound lane reopened around 6:50 p.m. Thursday night, according to CoTrip.org.
