Snow totals: Some Colorado resorts recorded more than a foot of snow Wednesday

A mid-March snowstorm brought chaos and closures to Colorado’s roadways and powder to its slopes.
While traveling Tuesday and even Wednesday morning was treacherous, sweet powder stashes awaited those who made it to Colorado ski resorts.
Here are the snow totals as of Wednesday at Colorado resorts according to OpenSnow.com.
- Silverton, 14 inches
- Telluride, 13 inches
- Winter Park, 9 inches
- Steamboat Resort, 8 inches
- Breckenridge, 6 inches
- Crested Butte, 6 inches
- Loveland Ski Area, 6 inches
- Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, 5 inches
- Aspen Mountain, 5 inches
- Copper Mountain, 5 inches
- Snowmass, 5 inches
- Vail Mountain, 5 inches
- Beaver Creek, 4 inches
- Keystone Resort, 4 inches
- Buttermilk, 2 inches
