The next meeting in a series of community forums about Dillon’s town core redevelopment will not take place as scheduled Thursday, Dec. 4.

Trace Faust, the lead facilitator of the forums from the Keystone Policy Center, wrote in an email that she told the town Wednesday morning she would not be available the next day because of health issues preventing her from traveling to higher altitudes.

The policy center is facilitating the forums and stated in its proposal that it would not have employees that live in Dillon work on the project to ensure impartiality.

Faust wrote that the series will continue with the next scheduled meeting Jan. 22. The topic that had been scheduled for Dec. 4, economic development and local business support, will move to Jan. 22, and future topics will be pushed down the line in order.
