Residents return home after gas leak prompted evacuations in Dillon

12:05 p.m.: Later Wednesday morning, the Dillon Keystone Police Department shared an update on Facebook that Tenderfoot Street reopened, the gas had been turned off and lower Yacht Club units could return to their residences. The update stated parts of lower Gold Run Circle will remain closed.

10:15 a.m.: The Dillon Keystone Police Department posted on Facebook that it is evacuating residents in Dillon due to a gas line break. The break is in the area of Gold Run Circle and Tenderfoot Street.

Those included in the evacuation area who have signed up for SC Alerts have already received evacuation notifications. The alert specifies the location as “Yacht Club building 3.”
