Frisco will host the sixth Repair Fair on Sept. 13 from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. at Slopeside Hall, located at 605 Recreation Way. The free community event will feature expanded offerings, including an electric vehicle ride and drive event and a giveaway of donated clothing, in addition to a wide variety of repair and maintenance services. There will be complimentary coffee and snacks provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring a reusable mug to help reduce waste.
“We are extremely excited to host our sixth repair fair with new and improved offerings. This spring was our biggest turn out, with many outdoor items repaired and put back into use again,” said Blair Miller, Frisco’s Historic Park and Museum Manager and Green Team member, in a recent press release.
The fair will include offerings like a bike mechanic, clothing repair, instrument repair, knife and hatchet sharpening, skate maintenance and a tent-washing station. The ride and drive event will be from 12 to 3 p.m.
