From Friday, Feb. 23, through Sunday, Feb. 25, Gold Run Nordic Center will serve as the hosts of the first-ever Breckebeiner — USA Triathlon Winter National Championships and Nordic Marathon.
Due to the three-day event, there will be partial trail closures in place. The lower trail system on the golf course will be closed from Thursday, Feb. 22, through Sunday, Feb. 25.
Peabody Placer, Hoodoo Voodoo and Preston Loop trails will still be accessible from the Gold Run Trailhead parking lot on these dates. Additionally, guests can use their season pass at the Breckenridge Nordic Center.
The Gold Run Nordic Center said it appreciates guests for their understanding.
For any questions regarding the closure, please call at (970)547-7889. For more information on the race, visit Breckebeiner.com.
