I-70 reopens at tunnels

8:10 p.m.: Westbound Interstate 70 is moving again after being closed for more than an hour.

8:05 p.m.: Eastbound Interstate 70 is open again, but westbound remains closed at the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnel.

7 p.m.: Interstate 70 is closed in both directions at the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnel due to snow as of 6:50 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, according to CoTrip.org.



A semi was jack-knifed and blocked both eastbound lanes a couple of miles west of the tunnel, according to traffic cameras. Crews are already on scene.
