Interstate 70 westbound between Exit 216 at Loveland Pass and Exit 205 at Silverthorne was closed Sunday morning, Oct. 12, due to a vehicle fire on the west side of the tunnels. A Summit Daily News reporter observed an overturned semitruck a few miles east of Silverthorne, and Colorado Department of Transportation camera images from earlier in the morning appear to show a burned semitruck.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
