The annual Marina Mutt Show, a fundraiser for local nonprofit League for Animals and People of the Summit, is set to take place at the Dillon Marina on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1.

The family-friendly event will feature canine competitions including best trick, look-alike contests, an ice-cream eating contest and more. There will also be a silent auction with items donated by local businesses with all proceeds to benefit League for Animals and People of the Summit and a dog-bone guessing contest with a season pass to Arapahoe Basin Ski Area as the prize.

Registration for competing canines and the silent auction will both begin at noon, and the contest is set to begin at 2 p.m. For more information, visit SummitLaps.org.
