The Copper Mountain Consolidated Metro District held two events in August that raised money for Mountain Sprouts Academy, a preschool in Copper.
The district’s community paper shredding event and community dinner raised a total of $1,583 for the preschool, according to a news release from the district. It stated that both entities would like to thank the Copper Mountain community for its generosity.
Staff from the district presented a large check for the donation amount to the preschool Oct. 7.
