North Pond Park ice rink is now open

Ian Zinner/Silverthorne
The town of Silverthorne announced Tuesday, Jan. 14, that the North Pond Park ice skating rink is now open.
The town plows and maintains the ice rink through early March, depending on weather conditions. People need to bring their own skates and hockey sticks to skate anytime from dawn to dusk for free. The restrooms and warming hut are open for skaters.
