William “David” Allan, of Gypsum, Co, passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2025 with his loving wife Trish Allan, daughters Charlotte Armstrong and Nicola McNamara and dog Saffy by his side.
David moved to Breckenridge from Scotland with his family in October of 1993. A hardworking and driven man, he poured his heart into building his successful excavating business, Highland Galloway Investments. He will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor and his natural ability to connect with people.
Outside of work, he loved nothing more than being surrounded by friends, sharing stories, laughter and the occasional drink. He brought warmth, a witty sense of humor and companionship wherever he went. His presence will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
