July 5, 1968 – October 9, 2025

Mark D. Roffey of Silverthorne, Colorado passed away on October 9, 2025 amongst family in Florida. Mark was born July 5, 1968 in Portland, Maine. As a child Mark was often on ponds fishing in the summer and skating in the winter. Mark attended North Yarmouth Academy where he played ice hockey as a forward. In 1989 Mark moved to Summit County and took a job at the Horseshoe Restaurant in Breckenridge. After leaving the restaurant business, Mark laid pipe around Summit County before becoming a certified water professional. Marks passion for ice hockey continued and although a forward he had a midlife crisis and purchased goalie gear, put on his “crazy eyes” and played goalie for the men’s league in Breckenridge. Mark was a kind person that lived life simply. He loved nature and the Boston Bruins and was a big Merle Haggard fan. Mark had a witty sense of humor and loved to share his son Noah’s photography with friends. Mark is survived by his loving parents, Kathleen and William, his sister Ann-Marie Roffey and his son, Noah Senderak. A Celebration of Life to honor Mark Roffey will be held at the Red Mountain Grill in Dillon on Saturday December 6, 2025 at noon.
